Hot Wheels, Aston Martin Team Up to Create Reimagined Classic Model
Mattel’s Sizzling Wheels and Aston Martin partnered to create a basic Aston Martin DB4 – if it was modified to chase land pace data on salt flats – within the type of a 1:64-scale die-cast car.
The enduring toy model and the British luxurious automobile producer took the basic DB4 form and commenced modifications, resulting in an aggressive entrance sprinter, a lowered chopped roof, customized wheels and an extended physique– all to extend aerodynamics and scale back wind resistance.
Aston Martin designers Miles Nurnberger and Thomas Gilbert joined Hot Wheels Design Supervisor Craig Callum for this collaboration.
After a whole lot of ideas, design conferences, and sketches, the crew created the DB4GT “Excessive-Velocity Version” die-cast mannequin.

The DB4GT “Excessive-Velocity Version” 1:64 die-cast mannequin will arrive on pegs at retailers worldwide starting in October.
